Victor Osimhen will break into Siasia’s team………… Lazarus


FIFA U-17 world cup Chile 2015 winning defender, John Lazarus of Nigeria thinks Victor Osimhen who has been named in the final 21 man squad of  Nigeria U-23 team to the upcoming CAF U-23 championship in Senegal has what it takes to break into the coach Samson Siasia’s first team.

 Lazarus also disagrees with FIFA on whom the best player in the just concluded FIFA U-17 world cup Chile 2015 is. The FOSLA Academy of Abuja player believes Victor Osimhen is a better player than Kelechi Nwakali.

Kelechi Nwakali won the Adidas Golden Ball for emerging the tournaments best player while Victor Osimhen was presented with the Adidas Silver Ball as the second best player of the tournament. Osimhen however also won the Adidas Golden Boot award for emerging as the tournament’s top goal scorer with 10 goals.

A win for Nigeria will take them to 12 points in a group that will also see Algeria host Zambia on Tuesday and with Algeria expected to win or pick at least one point in the game.
